Ute Pass is a heavily treed, deep crevice pass located between Manitou Springs and Woodland Park via Hwy 24, a narrow and winding 4-lane mountain pass. The road may be windy, but it is certainly gorgeous, with an elevation gain of 2,200 feet in about 20 minutes of driving.
Ute Pass is home to the towns of Green Mountain Falls and Cascade. Rustic cabins from the 1900s, as well as newer custom homes, dot the mountainside. The services offered in Ute Pass are mostly small shops and restaurants.

It is an easy drive to Fort Carson and NORAD.
