Did you know there is an outdoor farmers market almost every day of the week during summer in Colorado Springs? Farmers markets are not only a fun way to get outside and enjoy the sun, but they are an invitation for community members to meet local farmers, growers, and artisans. Instead of picking up produce in an air conditioned grocery store, summer farmers markets are an opportunity to learn about the food we eat and where it comes from. It is also an opportunity to thank and directly support small businesses.
